Indeed what? I said that I liked the low-profile wing on the sti, and you said "you can get it stock". Sure, you can get it stock on the wrx...that's not what we're talking about, now is it?

What is all this drivetrain loss mumbo jumbo? All I said is that the sti should be faster than the evo because it has a better power to weight ratio. Yes, it weighs more, but also has more hp. 11.0 lbs/hp for the subaru, and 11.2 lbs/hp for the mitsu. Understand yet?

And I cannot find an option for a low profile wing on the subaru website, nor can I find mention of one anywhere else. It only comes with the bookshelf wing. Educate yourself before posting.

"Of course, like most cars of its type, there is a big wing on the rear deck, though unlike the STi, it's optional — a "low-profile" spoiler is standard."

What are you talking about? No matter if the car is awd, fwd, or rwd, the engine would still make the same power. I was saying that even though it has 300hp, the sti is slower than the 286hp evo with less displacement. And I don't remember tthe sti being available with anything other than the bookshelf ricer wing. Did you even read what I said?

He's got the right idea with the wing. That looks much better than the stock ricer one. In fact, even the evo wing would look better than the stock sti one, because it doesn't look like a bookshelf as much. Now to put in an fmic and do away with that stupid scoop.

I used to be a subaru freak, but after seeing numerous comparisons between the two where the evo beats out the sti every single time, I think I'm switching sides. Besides, the evo just looks better. Clean and sharp front, and a clean back as well. And if I ever bought an sti, I would have to dyno it, since it seems that it doesn't make the claimed power. How else would an evo with less power, same weight and less displacement beat it in acceleration?

Although I've never driven neither, I love to magazine race. I'm always doing it, because I have no life.

The ultimate ugly, too, but still better looking than me.

I think the answer is to not be lazy and build a good twin-turbo setup, with one turbo for low rpm and one for top end.

The same tach, mounted on the dashboard, with a big bright shift light would serve just as well, and not look tacky.

What is the point of putting the tach on the hood? Why not put the speedometer there as well, while you're at it?
